Nusach According to the Ashkenaz Tradition, Sung by our Chazan
These files are in MP3 format, suitable for most computers and many music playing devices. For comments, corrections, problems, and requests, send email to nusach@kayj.org. Note: There is a known problem with Internet Explorer 7 or older such that incorrect background colors will be used; the problem should be fixed in Internet Explorer 8 when it becomes available. We recommend using Safari or Opera for optimal display.
How can you help this project proceed more quickly? We are in need of the following computer equipment, in working condition, to speed up the processing of the recordings: color monitor, 1024x768 or larger; FireWire (IEEE 1394) or USB 2.0 hard drive, 10 GB or larger, Apple Macintosh computer, 2004 or newer. If you would like to contribute, please send email to nusach@kayj.org.
Instructions: Select a category from the panel on the left. An outline of the contents in that category will then appear on the right. Click on a subcategory from the panel on the right to expand or hide the contents underneath. Click on a link corresponding to the recording you want to hear. A popup window may ask "Do you want to open or save this file?" If your computer is configured correctly, you can click on "Open", and it will automatically save the file to a temporary location. When it has completed downloading the file, it should play in your configured player for MP3 files.
Having problems? There is a known problem with Windows Media Player 9 and 10; you will need to upgrade to a later version or apply the bug fix from Microsoft. If you prefer not to upgrade, you can use an alternative player for MP3 files. We recommend iTunes (for both Windows and Mac OS X; be sure to select the correct version for your computer).
